Setting Up Your Sheath: Tek-Lok or UltiClip 2.2

Setting Up Your Sheath: Tek-Lok or UltiClip 2.2

When we build a knife at Bonds Creek, we want it to be something you can actually carry and use every day. That means the sheath system matters just as much as the blade. Our kydex sheaths are set up to work with a couple of the best attachment options out there—the Tek-Lok and the UltiClip 2.2.
Both are solid, dependable ways to carry your knife, but they serve slightly different purposes depending on how you like to run your gear.
The Tek-Lok is a great option if you’re carrying on a belt. It’s adjustable, extremely secure, and easy to take on and off without removing your belt. If you’re out hunting, working around the property, or just want a traditional belt carry setup, the Tek-Lok is hard to beat.
The UltiClip 2.2 is more geared toward pocket or waistband carry. It locks directly onto fabric instead of relying on a belt, which makes it a good choice if you’re carrying inside the waistband or just want a lower-profile setup.
Installing either one is straightforward and only takes a couple minutes with basic hardware. In the video above I walk through the process step-by-step so you can see exactly how we set them up and how to adjust the orientation depending on how you want to carry the knife.

At the end of the day, carry preference is personal. The important thing is making sure your knife rides securely and is where you expect it to be when you need it.
Watch the video above and you’ll be set up in a few minutes.
